Q. What is the biggest change you’ve made since beginning to workout?
A. I think more positively about myself, and have disciplined myself about what I should or shouldn’t do.

A. Seeing home videos of myself and being weighed at the doctor

A. Zumba and the positive fitness instructors.

A. You can achieve your goals! Take it one day at a time, work hard, accept challenges, and make it a total life adjustment. Results will come!

Q. What is the biggest change you’ve made since beginning to workout?
A. I made working out a part of my job. Cutting out flour and sugar in my diet and setting a weight loss goal of 1-2 pounds a week to keep it real!
Q. What motivated you to begin your exercise program?
A. Nothing fit! I was depressed—did not have a good self-esteem. I also had high cholesterol and was taking medicine that only made me ache.
Q. How often do your workout? A. 4-5 days a week
Q. What is the best compliment you’ve been given?
A. "You look like you’ve lost a lot of weight—how did you do it?"
Q. What is your favorite thing about LOA?
A. Although I love the sauna, I would say I like the staff and the circuit.
Q. How much weight have you lost?
A. I started my diet in September ‘08 and at that time weighed 208. I’m down to 168 currently
Q. What advice would you give someone beginning an exercise program?
A. Its so much easier to lose weight if you work out.

Q. What is the biggest change you’ve made since beginning to workout?
A. My biggest change was just working out at all. I’m 52 and had not worked out in 20 years. The first few weeks were a huge struggle but then I began to like it and started working out at home too in my spare time.
Q. What motivated you to begin your exercise program?
A. My daughter joined LOA and she said she really enjoyed going, so I thought why not try it!

A. You look great since you’ve lost weight!

A. The staff is wonderful for advice, Especially when you’re new to machines and programs. I just love the exercise now—it’s very addictive!
Q. How much weight have you lost? A. 18 pounds and 2 pants sizes
Q. How do you overcome times of discouragement?
A. There’s days when I just don’t want to go, but I USUALLY make myself, and I’m so happy that I did. If I don’t go, I feel guilty the rest of the day!
Q. What advice would you give someone beginning an exercise program?
A. Don’t give up! If I can do it after all these years—everyone else can too, and you’ll feel great!
